Any malfunctions noted with the shield?
The temptation is great to get one after I got to handle one, I don't need it! If it had been in 357 SIG I would have had to get it and still may get the 45 Shield. It's hard for me to not carry my Glock 32 as I have for 15 + years.
I went from a Colt General Officers 45 to a Glock19 to a Glock 32 and never changed.
