I'm watching on-line. Impressed with how logical and well spoken Harkins, Cargill, and Roland are and how hand wringing the other two are. Haven't listened the entire time but want to ask "after 20 years of licensed carry in Texas with such a great track record, why do you think any of that is going to change just because it is on campus?"

Yeah, the professor and maryann (whatever sophmore girl's name was that thinks her fear should be enough to trump our rights) were almost comical the more they talked towards the end

Cringed when the girl said that it's illogical to think that campus carry could have no negative effects.

Other states seem to be doing just fine. No blood in the streets. License holders are not murdering professors. It's all good. The only thing illogical is her lack of ability to think logically.

The girl in the blue dress should have been kicked off of the board immediately after stating that she would not reconsider her opinion should statistics and anecdotes prove against her own opinion. This is a board that is promoting discussion and thought and she just openly stated that she would not acknowledge thought and discussion? Why is she even there? Michael as well as the other "Pro Campus Carry" representative said that they would re-evaluate their opinions, meaning that they are being open minded towards their discussion. However not one time, did I feel like anything that the anti side brought to the table, created a logical defense against campus carry. I know I'm just preaching to the choir by stating this but I feel the need to... To the moron on the left, we are not solving a problem by carrying a gun, we are PREVENTING. This is not a problem that can be solved post conflict, and the only way to solve said problem is to PREVENT the problem by preparing ourselves for the worst. Once the problem that hypothetically needs to be solved arises, it is TOO LATE. I'm surprised he was never addressed about that.
