If they were actually protesting a real injustice it would mean something. However, since their kind (progs) make it clear that only whites are racist and minorities are still oppressed, which they aren't, their protests are merely a sign of their stupidity and belief in the prog lies.

It's been specified, but I don't mind clarifying: The BOGUS message of being oppressed.

The complainers ought to talk to the people in (incomplete list) Cuba, Venezuela, China, Russia and those countries it dominates.

The complainers wouldn't get away with their foot stamping tantrums in a country where people really are being oppressed.

They'd be rounded up, up, and away!

Perhaps mandatory military service for 2 years (men and women) would help especially since HRC wants to have me (and you) pay for their higher education.

Name your reason, but EVERYBODY, including the NFL, agrees that NFL viewership is down enough to cause concern to people who give a crap. (I'm not one of them.)

Now, I'm not going to say that it is ALL anthem-gate disenchantment, but I will say that I think viewers are, in general, as tired of hearing about NFL players using their notoriety to advance political positions as they are tired about hearing hollywood stars using their notoriety to advance political positions. They are tired of being lectured to by spoiled millionaires who accept no accountability for their own behavior, but want to lecture the rest of us about ours.

Personally, I don't care anymore. If they want to be mulletheads, let them. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'll just give my attention to a more appreciative entertainment source.

Its a disgrace. Plain and simple. Many men/women have died to give us the 1st Amendment right. He doesnt have a problem cashing those checks that he receives in America. What a great role model huh?

I'm exercising my right to not watch NFL football until every team requires their players to stand for the national anthem. They don't have to stand, but like Jerry Jones says they don't have to work for his football team either. Too bad most of the other owners are spineless.

At our local high school it's the "right" of the players not to stand and it's the "right" of their coach to kick them off the team. I hope he'll exercise that right if it happens.

Tell all the protesters in the NFL to put on this uniform and then they might understand why we stand!

There are appropriate times, places, and methods of protesting that make sense and actually make a statement about a cause. I don't think disrespecting the anthem of your nation qualifies in this instance. I don't think it should be illegal for them to do so, but there is nothing wrong with disapproving of them doing so. It's inappropriate and has nothing to do with the cause they claim to support, which is in and of itself deeply flawed.

Folks like this feel oppressed because the democrats have told them that they are.

Weird thing. I protest the government all the time. Daily, when things are going ok, more often when not.

I can't do that when representing my employer.

When an NFL player takes an anthem knee while on the company clock, it's not the player being an ugly child, it's the NFL.

It's their right to be profane. Just don't ask me to support them, or to not fight back.
