They also believe that anyone who voted for Trump is also a racist by extension.
Bless you! It really baffles me that people honestly believe that. All I can say is that we need to Pray for them.

I would like to piggy back off of this.
From what I've seen from a few friends on Facebook, a lot are distraught and have no sense of identity. Now I'm sure we would feel somewhat the same way if Trump had lost last night. People that are Hispanic, Muslim, and Black feel like they have nowhere to go in this country. They fear for the safety of their children and family members. They all claim Trump is a racist and will deport Mexicans and Muslims and enslave everyone else who isn't white, that is what I'm picking up.
As someone who is a minority that voted FOR Trump I feel like my family will prosper. I do not understand the delusion that they speak of.
My question is did Trump come off as that "racist" or am I just being biased towards someone I voted for?
The left had no plausible counterarguments to Trump's evidence backed charges of corruption, criminality, and across the board domestic and foreign policy failures against both Hillary and Obama, and his support of the types of solutions that have worked for our country for hundreds of years. Faced with this situation, they do what any man-child who has accomplished nothing but knows everything predictably does- they call their opponents names and allege faults that are not actually present in their opponents but are in fact present in themselves.
To answer your question, consider that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior and look at the evidence. Has Trump hired minorities, reached out to the Hispanic, black, and other communities? He has.
Has he reached out to and supported groups that advocate special privileges for or violence against people based on their race as the left has with BLM and other groups as Hillary has? He has not. In fact, he disavowed support from such groups, despite the fact that from a political standpoint he needed all the support he could muster from anyone to counter the massive open opposition he faced from the legacy media, who, along with the pollsters, lost at least as much in this election as Hillary did.
The left's dire warnings about race based actions they allege Trump will take is just another version of the left's time worn wails that blood will run in the streets every time firearms laws are brought closer to the provisions of the second amendment. They are just another form of the tantrums they throw whenever they leave their dark, warm, soft safe spaces and face the blinding light of the real world the rest of us live in all the time.
In other words, chill out - the good guy who will do his dead level best to do the right thing for every family in America has won and America has another chance to be great again. I'm really looking forward to seeing Trump drain the Washington swamp and put America back on course with fairly applied constitutionally based laws and an end to the persecution of Christians and patriots.

I'd hoped it wouldn't be necessary to maintain being heavily armed when out of house...guess it will take a few days for their tears to dry and accept that they don't always get what they want. In the meantime it would be best if the discontented remained peaceful.
As far as Trump being racist...it was a narrative put forth by the Clinton campaign and the establishment media with no examples or evidence to support it.
The fact that President-elect Trump wants to enforce immigration laws, protect our borders and closely examine Muslim refugees to ensure they are not here to commit terrorist acts does not make him racist.

Hi vjallen75. To answer your question, my opinion is Trump is not a racist. They try to paint him as such just as they tried throwing anything else they could to try to get the attention off of their Candidate that is a known criminal and has a lot more to answer for than Trump. I think your chances for proper is greatly improved having Trump in there instead of the other evil. Its amazing how many people dont do their own research and just turn to "FakeBook" for their decisions. Unbelievable. I dont buy into their grim scenario where some demon is gonna rip babies from their mothers arms.
You will be fine my friend and hopefully you are proud of your vote, after all, you voted how you feel and you (hopefully) didnt make that decision based on what others were saying on FB.

I knew the way he said some thing would come off as racist, for not one second did I actually believe it. I just know based off of what the media has said it could seem to come off as racist. I wanted to make sure that I did not miss something, considering that I voted for President-Elect Trump

I found it sad that people twisted his words on immigration. My wife is from New Mexico, a state mostly democratic and has a lot of immigrants. She told me most of the ones she knows are here breaking laws. I have a friend that is Muslim and he is terrified that his family will be ridiculed from white America based off of what they believe. I am sadden that people actually believe that about Trump, I believe he is going to do great things.

I have never been more proud of my vote. I actually did my own research, I watched every debate, I made a decision that I believe would be best for my Christian beliefs and the beliefs of my family.
Thanks for all that answered my question. Not that I believed it, it's always good to speak with like-minded people that speak based on facts not facebook

Thank you for doing the research and making an informed decision. It is so much easier to go the other way, believing what you hear on mainstream media, on Facebook and other social media and from uninformed friends and family who believe what they hear without researching. America needs 10 of millions more people who will do what you have done to reach your conclusions. I salute you.

The sad reality is that if people actually read on policies not based off of personalities I think the majority of the population would have voted for Trump. Not that it matters now, but in the future it can and will. I think we all have to do our part to educate people. We need them to go out and actually do their research and stay of the media bandwagon. This is a great day for our country

I was walking down the hall when I came up on the Editor and a reporter talking about why the polls were so far off. The reporter was postulating that Trump supporters were simply too ashamed to admit they were Trump Supporters. I interjected that in my case, I simply didn't feel like putting up with all of the crap from wide-eyed, frothing at the mouth liberals when ever I had to audacity to express my preference, at which point she goes off and tells me how offended she is. Then she took the phony high-ground of "I could never vote for a candidate who think's it's OK to grab women by their genitals."
I couldn't have illustrated my point any better.

That's what I assumed I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being naive. A friend of mine even said he knew Democrats that voted for Hillary because of something they
heard or
read that Trump said from FB or the "news"

The two mainstays of the liberals, which they pull out when they have no valid arguement, are... "he's/ she's a racist" or "Think of the children".
