You are the only person I've seen make such a comment about the TABC. Every other instance has been very positive with regard to their responsiveness and handling of sign complaints.
I'm glad to hear this. I haven't reported in a long time, so maybe it's better now?
I'm sure larger cities like Houston, Dallas, etc.. do have a slower response time, due to logistics. There are only a handful of TABC agents to cover large areas, and like everything else, calls are covered not in the order they were reported, but by priority. So an improper signage call won't take precedence over a bar where where they have a lot of gun fire on a regular basis. They may send a letter to a permitted premise, and advise them to remove the sign, but it may take several months before they actually visit to verify.

And I think you're confusing TABC sign requirements vs. illegal 30.06 postings that the AG is supposed to enforce.
I submitted a complaint on their website and within 24 hours I got an email reply asking for clarification. I provided the clarification and the next day the agent said he would make a visit to the location. I haven't been back to the restaurant to confirm but it seems promising.

I've never heard this either. Every thing I've seen indicates they usually address the complaints within a week if not a couple days.

I can't verify what I said, but I just remember, how TABC agents were thinly dispersed when I was a LEO,
They may be more well populated than they were in the late 80s and early 90s. All of my complaints regarding improper signage etc.. have been addressed rather quickly, but I'm not in a large city, or very populated County.
As per usual my opinion is worth every penny paid for it.
