Grapevine Mills mall is posted 30.06
NE Mall is not posted. I didn't see any of that sort around Saturday.
Coincidence?

I am curious... Have you seen legal 30.06 signs at every public entrance of Grapevine Mall or just some entrances?
I hope this is not a growing trend. If every business and place puts up these legal signs, there will be hardly no place we can carry to protect ourselves and families. It would nullify the good work of people like Charles Cotton and others that helped make defending ourselves a reality.

not to worry

Personally, I have not seen a single sign there - because I don't go there since hearing they are posted.
But honestly, I can count on one hand the places in Tarrant County that I have seen properly posted as 30.06. The most glaring example is the Fort Worth Zoo, and I don't think they have the legal grounds to enforce it.
The Tarrant County Courthouse records building is posted non-standard, but I'm not going to test that one.

This came up in my CHL class because we were at Bass Pro, right next to Grapevine mills. They have the sign engraved into the stone at the mall entrances. I haven't been recently, but they were saying there were no signs on some entrances, like the department stores. If I was going, I'd go through one of those entrances...

I agree that this is starting to be a ridiculous loophole. If you're going into a bar to drink then yeah, you take your chances and go unarmed. If you're going to the mall with your family, I see no reason that you can't go armed. Especially in light of recent mall shootings and such. It only takes one psycho. I don't think the signs are going to keep someone out that's looking to kill innocent people.
