I find the importation of police chiefs from Yankeedom disturbing.
We don't have qualified people from Texas?

Well the mayor and the county judge are DemocRats. The city manager is imported from the left coast. We needed a female minority inexperienced outsider to round out and balance them. Maybe she will surprise us? We could take a pre-emptive approach and write her a nicely worded letter explaining how important 2A rights are for us here in Dallas...

Probably no worse than Houston hiring their chief from Cuba via Commiefornia and Austin. Shame no one from within was qualified, but that just goes to show how the Houston mayor feels about Texans and Houstonians.
