That's cool. I bought so much .45 ammo a couple years ago at .28 cents a round I haven't needed any more yet and only seen .33-.38 cents on Walmart shelves for a little while now. Thanks for the heads up!

This was going to be my recommendation. I have 4 Walther pistols but haven't had a chance yet to shoot the M1 PPQ I got last month. The trigger is very nice. Recently they came out with the Q4 which is like the Q5 except with a threaded 4~inch barrel but not the fancy blue trigger.

Well, crazy as it seems I have finally decided on what I’m getting next. Ruger SR22. Heading to the Dallas gun show this weekend and if I can find one at a good price then I’ll get one there, if not sportsman warehouse has a great Black Friday deal going on right now. As I said in an earlier post I go to the range 4 to 6 times per month and blow through 400 to 800 rounds per month. This gives me the feel of a regular semi but affordable to shoot and easy on the body as well. I would love to get a pair of sr22 and sr9 semi’s but I promised my boys I would get them ammo for Christmas which will be a about $600.00 after I add my ammo purchase along with it. So only leaves me about 300 to spend on a new gun. And did I mention the wife wants a new iPad mini for Christmas. I think that pretty much takes care of my holiday cash.

stop the confusion ..... spend the cash on reloading equipment and reduce the cost of ammo .... then spend more money buying components. You won't save much on the 9mm stuff, but you can easily save 40-50% of the ammo money on .45 acp, .357 mag, .44 mag and a host of others. I can assure you that reloading will make you appreciate the guns you have now and will make you think a little more about the next gun purchase. Maybe good to consider a chrony also.
