They are unethical and arrogant and I won't spend a dime in their store or on the internet store regardless of the price. I'm fortunate enough to not have to spend money with businesses that think their customers are stupid and treat them like they are inferior.

I got turned off to CTD about four years ago. They had a good deal on bayonets for the Swiss K-31. (If would have been a great deal anywhere else, but when you figure in CTD's exorbitant shipping rates, it was only "good".)

Anyway, this Texas company wouldn't send a bayonet to my Texas address, because they said it fell into the category of "illegal knife". So, I have the bayo and a case of ammo shipped to my mother's house in Arkansas. Except the bayo didn't make it: they refused because the billing address on my card was in Texas.

I lit up their customer service, but of course it was too late by then. They were out of those bayonets.

My revenge came just a few months later, when they mistakenly priced Aguila Super Colibri at $4 a brick, instead of $14. I bought a case (would have bought more, but I was broke), and I told everyone I knew about it. I figure when the guys on my C&R mailing lists got through with them, they sold several pallets' worth at less than a third of their cost.
