I will say since nobody else will. Please don't destroy that Colt Python barrel. It is sacrilege at best.

Serious question, how does this rank compared to a S&W model 27 or 28?

Andy, basicly what the advantage over an N frame.
Ive never shot a ruger with a compable trigger.
Why not a sw/ python?

It's not being destroyed; this is a brand-new barrel that's never been on a Python frame and was kept in storage at Colt. Now it's going to be used - but if you have a line on a complete Python frame for the $600 or so a Ruger would cost, I'm all ears.
