But, two wrongs do not make a right, if someone has an improper 30.06 I think you should respect their wishes, and inform them that their signage needs to be corrected.

It is not my job, interest, or responsibility to inform anyone of whether or not their signs are correct or not. Maybe it is intentionally incorrect. Maybe it is left over from the previous tenant. Maybe they changed the law and I am the one who does not know what the sign is supposed to say.
When doe it end? How about 51% signs? Fire Exit signs, Alcohol & Tobacco products signs? DOT signs at fuel stations? If you want to tell them how to run their business, apply for a job there.
And Welcome to the forum and some alternative views.

We all know signs are meant for the Law Bidding Citizens.
Because the Criminals don't care about any signs legal or not!

Just a pause to recognize that teleamp's heart is in the right place. He is taking the responsibility of concealed carry very seriously, and is endeavoring to do the right thing.
So, good on ya for that, teleamp.

And if you are anywhere near Houston, I highly recommend you attend the TXCHL Forum Day at PSC, and particularly the "Aftermath of Deadly Force" seminar Charles Cotton is conducting the evening before, on Friday, September 28. Reading the applicable Texas State Penal Code is job one, but there may well be no CHL instructor in the state more qualified to give a lecture on the practicalities and nuances of the law than is Charles. I've heard this presentation twice in the past 12 months, and with the update of the new laws taking effect September 1, I'm eager to hear it again.
Another note that some businesses post the "ghostbuster" sign on purpose, with knowledge of the law. A friend of mine does that. He welcomes CHL holders and understands they will ignore the sign, and he knows that criminals will ignore whatever sign he puts up. But he hopes people who are illegally packin'--though not planning anything else illegal--will think twice about bringing in a gun. I've told him I think that is a weak premise, but he shrugs, "The sign doesn't take up much space."

He might want to rethink if'n you can convince him. Lots of CHL'ers do not shop where they see gunbusters.
I just ignore them.
