I know, I was just poking fun at glock "perfection"... I thought it was fair since the glock guys make fun of our beloved 1911's with regularity.
But no, the unsupported case thing was/is many glocks over the years.

Nah. My 1st handgun ever was a 1911, and I first read about unsupported cases in a 1911 manual I bought when I first got the gun. I just did this search to illustrate the point. I also knew that in standard pressure .45 ACP, it was a non-issue, but that it
could be a potential problem in high-pressure reloads or commercial +P. I’ve run 1000s of rounds through my 9mm Glocks. I’ve run 1000s of rounds though my 1911s. I’ve never noticed a frown on a piece of brass from any of them.

Typically when I reload .40 or 10mm I run the the brass through a lee 'bulge buster' die setup for the .40S&W/10mm, the rest of the time the unsupported case issue doesn't play into my reloading habits. I have reloaded brass fired from many different firearms.
