I took class Feb 13, fingerprints sent via FAST, and online application

Mailed packet Feb 14 via certified mail, recieved Feb 18.

My status was updated Mar 18.. 27 days for an update.

Now waiting on BG check.

Ok, so DPS told me it would be 2 weeks before an update. If you check my previous post that was probably about a week ago. so we are currently looking at a wait time to reflect status of about 18 business days.

This sounds like my experience so far, mine was just 14 days later. My app status is in my sig :)

Mailed completed application on 2/7/2011

CHL arrived today (3/21/2011) in the mail.

31 business days for DPS from start-to-finish........

Card was in the mailbox yesterday.

Mailed mine on Feb 25. Website still not updated. I called them last week and they said they were running way behind -expect another couple weeks before thay can process.

And the clock ticking gets louder each day.

2.27 - Class / ink fingerprints
2.28 - Mailed packet standard usps
3.02 - Packet received
3.17 - called DPS, confirmed packet receipt on 3.02
3.21 - website still says "waiting on receipt", still no letter from the state.

I am in the same position.

It would be nice for it to just show up in the mailbox in the next 10 days or so

2/21/2011 - Mailed to DPS
3/10/2011 - Status updated
3/21/2011 - Called and was told my application was given to a technician, due to something on my background check.

There shouldn't be anything bad on my record that is less than 14 years old.
Not knowing only piques my curiosity even more.

BIL did everything the exact same time, he had an update in 2 weeks, and his now says "mailed". Good for him but

I have no idea why I am only 21 and I have nothing on my record. I have lived in a few different places (all in Texas) over the past few years, and I have a few college loans but I'm still in school so I am not worried about them. For the life of me I don't know what the hold up is. And when I call I get the standard response, you are within the normal time frame... not when you read some of these posts.

Class, app, fingerprints, and mailed all at the same time. Darn my slightly peppered past.

Yup, BIL got his plastic in the mail today.... Funny, I dropped his in the mail with mine, and I just got an online status this week!!! GRRR!!

Took his 4 days from "mailed" to plastic in hand.
