Walmart in Tomball ..249 @ Spring Cypress had everything in stock except the elusive .380
It's nice to be able to walk in and just pick up what you need.
Got me some
Remington.38 special for $16.97 per box
and
Federal .40 for $13.97 per box.
and milk.

Wal-Mart Plano. 75 and Spring Creek. 9mm, .40 and a couple boxes of 45 left. As of about 30 minutes ago. All the mentioned is federal 50 count boxes. The .45 was 15.95. I forgot the other two prices.

Wal-Mart at FM 646 and I-45 (League City/Dickinson) @ 0800 today:
They just got in some Federal 9 mm and 45, Remington 38 special and 357 magnum -- was not on shelves yet, still in shipping boxes. The lady said the truck comes in about 0400 and the night shift doesn't have the key to the ammo cabinet, so she shelves it about 0800 or so, when she comes on duty.
No 380, which is what I was seeking. If the 38 special had been shelved, I would have picked up a couple of boxes.

Just bought 6 boxes of monarch .380 94 gr FMJ at $14 a box of 50. They probably had 10 more boxes. Sorry, I was too excited to count. They also had 2 boxes of Remington .380 95 gr for $36 for a box of 100.
Also to note, it appeared they had every other caliber. 9mm, 357, 40, 45, 45 cowboy, ....

The weight from ammo adds up quicker than one might imagine. I collapsed a shelf under my wet bar twice. The first reinforcement was not enough. Now I have serious wood holding it up. I don't think anything can bring it down at this point.
Wal-Mart in Plano had 60 boxes of the federal 50 count .45 on Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon they were down to 2 boxes. I ask them why that 9mm in the orange box was so high. They said because it was imported from Sweden. Maybe it was Scandinavia... i don't remember but the reason was because of import fees... or so they said. I ask why Wolf ammo was cheaper... he glazed over and couldn't answer that one.
How much was the 380???
