Word to the wise... Some of the Kahr P380's don't all like Herters. there looks to be a slight difference in the way the rim angles from other cartridges. I fired the stuff in a Ruger LCP and it just ate it up, but both mine and my sons kahrs got persnickety with it. Kahr had no explanation for it other than to do the usual and crap all over the ammo brand. They brought up every rumor about Herters they could think of that had nothing to do with what was happening in the Kahr, but got stumped when I mentioned that the half the price LCP and Keltec seemed to have no issues with it. Anyway... I would not recommend it if you have the Kahr. There may be other manufacturers that have issues also but I don't know this to be a fact.

CheaperThanDirt has 9mm 124gr FMJ Speer Lawman for $12/50 rounds. Just picked up 6 boxes the other day. THat's cheaper than Walmart WWB value packs.
Oh, almost forgot.....you have to go in the back at the catalog order counter and they've got it in stock back there. Great ammo

I actually found .45 at walmart @ N Tarrant and Beach today.

100 round WWB for 32.97.
First time I have seen .45 on selves whether target or defense rounds.

They also had some Remington JHPs and Winchester bonded JHPs

The Walmart on 190 in Madisonville had a ton of 100 round WWB .380 in stock yesterday. It's probably a little far for most, but if you're heading down 45 between Dallas and Houston, the Walmart isn't too far from the interstate.

A gun shop that I frequent has 380, but it's expensive. Remington UMC at $25/box and Remington Express at $35/box (50-rounds).

If you need 380 that badly, you can PM me and I'll tell you where in the Houston-Galveston area you can find it.

I don't want to start a stampede but I thought I'd let ya'll know I just picked up some .380 auto hollow points at the Academy in Cedar Park on 1431. I was in there around 11:30am and it looked like they had about 8 boxes left. The rounds are Winchester Supreme Elite and they have them priced at $20.99 for 20 rounds.
I don't have much experience with these particular rounds but these days I'll take what I can find when it comes to self defense type ammo.

BTW I also purchased the only box of WWB .380 auto. :fire

It's good stuff. So are Remington Golden Sabers.
If I had my choice I would pick Hornady Critical Defense, which coincidentally I've seen a lot of at Academy lately.

Thanks for the tip about the Federal 9mm at Wal-Mart. They had lots at $9.47, apparently with no limit. He sold me an unopened case of the stuff! No scanning DL or any of that nonsense either.

T's Guns and Ammo have most calibers at a reasonable price....even .380!

I bought some Hydra Shocks (9mm $19.95 for 20)....should be just what the new Taurus 709SS needs :biggrinjester:

Oh did I mention I got a new gun today. :biggrinjester: :fire
