He certainly is.
I would support a federal investigation into the stand down. With our children and constitutional rights both under attack, I think the public deserves re-assurance that what happened in Florida was not part of a
Operation Gladio style
Strategy of Tension

Yes, for him, like Hillary, Nikolas Cruz was simply a "bored youth."

Goodlatte and Gowdy Release Key Takeaways from FBI Briefing on Parkland School Shooting
Deputy Director Bowdich admitted there were failures and that corrective actions will be taken. The FBI has launched separate reviews of the September 2017 and January 2018 tips regarding Nikolas Cruz.
We also need investigation of what happened at the scene of the crime.

Judicial Watch today released Broward County Sheriff’s Office training and operation materials that specifically dictate that the first one or two officers on the scene of an active shooter incident “will immediately go to confront the shooter.”
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office’s Standard Operating Procedure and lesson plans for an active shooter incident were obtained by Judicial Watch via a Florida Sunshine Act records request.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that armed school resource officer Deputy Scot Peterson was first on the scene of the February 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, but he did not enter the school to confront shooter Nikolas Cruz.
The lesson plan clearly states: “If you are on scene or in the area and hear gunshots, you should immediately access what you have and prepare to respond. Remember, every time you hear a gunshot in an active shooter incident; you have to believe that is another victim being killed.”
The training materials also state that the first officers on the scene will “engage the suspect,” which Peterson did not do. “There are now three teams during Active Shooter Incident [Contact, Extraction and Rescue Task Force]: Contact Team: Is first on scene, 1-4 deputies, they will be actively engaging/searching for suspect (HOT ZONE).”
The lesson plan lists “priorities of life” as: 1) Hostages/victims; 2) Innocent Bystanders; 3) Police/deputies; and 4) Suspects. “If in doubt about going through the door after a suspect, think about the victims and where they stand on the list.”
So much fail. I don't know why the Florida government hasn't taken action to remove the Coward County Sheriff from office.
Why aren't the students protesting the failures of the people who they expected were going to protect them?

Because he's one of their libtard cronies.

Because those students are being manipulated by the D̶e̶m̶o̶c̶r̶a̶t̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶p̶a̶g̶a̶n̶d̶a̶ ̶m̶a̶c̶h̶i̶n̶e̶ media.

Fake Crime Statistics Lead to 17 Murdered in Parkland
It seems that every day more revelations come out about the collapse of the system in Parkland that failed to stop the murderer from roaming the halls of a high school with a gun he should never have had an opportunity to legally acquire. Yet the tale of failure starts way before the fated day he entered the school.
In my opinion, the whole response to the Parkland shooting has been an effort to distract examination by the public at large as to how a mentally unstable boy with dozens of reports against him was facilitated by Obama's Department of Education.
This is close to be the truest evil of the progressive socialists..they do something like the policies to reduce student arrests then blame someone, something else for the results of what they implemented. If we had a impartial media full of journalists seeking the truth, there would have been no marches this weekend to end legal gun ownership. Perhaps marches calling for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for this and other tragedies of their polices would have been more appropriate.

March for enforcement of the extant background check laws. If Nikolas Cruz can buy any weapon, from an NEF 14 ga. to an NFA M60, why even have the NICS?

Written by a student who spent time hiding in a closet hoping not to die. This was reposted by a teacher I respect.
“A year after I was assaulted by Mr. Cruz, I was assigned to tutor him through my school’s peer counseling program. Being a peer counselor was the first real responsibility I had ever had, my first glimpse of adulthood, and I took it very seriously.
Despite my discomfort, I sat down with him, alone. I was forced to endure his cursing me out and ogling my chest until the hourlong session ended. When I was done, I felt a surge of pride for having organized his binder and helped him with his homework.
Looking back, I am horrified. I now understand that I was left, unassisted, with a student who had a known history of rage and brutality.
Like many pre-teenage and teenage girls, I possessed — and still, to an extent, possess — a strong desire to please. I strive to win the praise of the adults in my life and long to be seen as mature beyond my years. I would have done almost anything to win the approval of my teachers.
This is not to say that children should reject their more socially awkward or isolated peers — not at all. As a former peer counselor and current teacher’s assistant, I strongly believe in and have seen the benefits of reaching out to those who need kindness most.
But students should not be expected to cure the ills of our genuinely troubled classmates, or even our friends, because we first and foremost go to school to learn. The implication that Mr. Cruz’s mental health problems could have been solved if only he had been loved more by his fellow students is both a gross misunderstanding of how these diseases work and a dangerous suggestion that puts children on the front line.
It is not the obligation of children to befriend classmates who have demonstrated aggressive, unpredictable or violent tendencies. It is the responsibility of the school administration and guidance department to seek out those students and get them the help that they need, even if it is extremely specialized attention that cannot be provided at the same institution.
No amount of kindness or compassion alone would have changed the person that Nikolas Cruz is and was, or the horrendous actions he perpetrated. That is a weak excuse for the failures of our school system, our government and our gun laws.”
This is how the system now works with evil young adults, puts our children in danger for the hope that they can be saved. Hides their evil, so they can buy guns.

The Broward County School Board has decided not to take part in the state's newly established school guardian program, which allows certain school employees to carry weapons on the job.
The school board said the money allotted for the guardian program would be redirected toward hiring more school resource officers.
So, more people to cower behind cars instead of people inside the building that could actually defend students?
