FYI, that case is a person who was extracted from the Wuhan province by the US State Dept. He is being held at one of the San Antonio Military Bases in quarantine. While it is a 'real' case, he came here under quarantine and was (hopefully) kept fully isolated the whole time. I'll be worried in another 7 days or so, when we can check the spread and infection rates ourselves based on the few that were discovered in the states up north.

So Imagine for a moment I’m a military strategist in China.

I’m realizing that if this gets bad it may militarily weaken my country badly. It might come to the point that other adventurist countries might take advantage of my weakened situation.

I would fly ununiformed soldiers with lots of cash to spend for a big extended holiday in Mexico and Africa. I would instruct them to visit as many public gatherings as possible. Eat out drink and be merry. I would casually introduce them to infected people before they leave. Tell them if they get sick to come to the embassy.

Mexico and Africa would be ideal as they have poor healthcare and porous borders with my enemies.

Agreed... I think he's done a good job of touting all of his accomplishments but the one thing that is killing the dems is the economy... and I think it;s the only thing that could derail it all.

Political ramifications aside, I'm praying for containment and a vaccine asap.

They keep monkeying with the way they are reporting these cases. Now they are removing cases where the results don't show the virus per se, but still show genetic markers of the virus?
