Is this normal? I am a dual citizen, so I did have to submit my certificate of citizenship...
Not sure but I don't have dual citizenship and my status has not changed either. My documents were submitted on 9/16/2013.

Here is my timeline:
- 9/26/13 - Completed online application
- 10/1/13 - Fingerprints
- 10/1/13 - CHL class
- 10/3/13 - Mailed out documents
- 11/13/13 - Email sent to DPS to check status, no response!
- 11/19/13 - Phone call to DPS, 25 minute wait and when answered no information available on documentations: except could take 60 days.
- 11/20/13 - Application received per DPS system, Background check under review

Well folks... I'm officially out of the waiting room!!
It took 56 days from submission to plastic!
9/21 - Class
9/25 - Application
9/27 - Fingerprints
9/30 - Submitted paperwork electronically
11/14 - FIRST update: Manufacturing Pending
11/15 - Mailed!
11/20 - CHL in hand

No, as of today, I haven't received any update. It still says they are waiting on the required documentation. Today is 8 weeks since I put it in the mail. I just sent it first class. Now, I wish I would have sent it "Return receipt requested". For all I know, it's lost.
Also, two weeks ago I sent them an E-mail requesting that they verify receipt of my documents. Got an automated reply saying they would look in to it, but I should give them sufficient time to respond.
So far, nothing from that either.

Id be surprised if our licenses got here by New Years...not counting on it.
