"Buy one get one 50% off" is basically a 25% discount . . . given Dick's normal inflated prices, I wonder if this brings the final price below WalMart's . . .

I typically buy ammo in bulk quantities and was under the impression that prices were up because of the rising prices of the materials used to manufacture it. Over the past couple months, copper, steel and brass have all dropped by 40% or more. I was hoping to see the reductions work their way through the food chain but it isn't happening yet.

I just looked this weekend in my Gander Mtn. catalog and they are selling Remington UMC for $10 more than they were last week. So its at least 15-20 more than Wally World now. I am looking for bulk 7.62x39 in the near future as soon as I can get an Ak ordered from Lancaster. Any suggestions?
