Thats ok....when he is done with this trial and is aquitted he can then sue NBC for defamation (for the editting of the tape), then he can sue CNN for privacy violations. There is even a chance with the limited amount of evidence that has been produced at this trial that there are others that could be sued as well. Then he can write a book about the experience.

Take it with a grain of salt. The source is infowars after all. But some have said it would be better to find Zimmerman guilty, even if he's innocent, just to avoid riots. I don't understand the logic in that. Find an innocent man guilty to prevent people from breaking the law.

I made good overtime during the LA riots...

I illegally carried a gun during the L.A. riots. I worked at 1st and Vignes, right by the 1st St. Bridge, in the Daily Journal Corporation building. I remember when the crowd of about a gozillion rioters from Aliso Village swept across the 1st St. bridge toward city hall and Parker Center. They misbehaved somewhat at Parker Center. My best friend's bachelor party was at another friend's house out in Sylmar, and even out there the smoke from the fires in Los Angeles was so thick and acrid that it burned the eyes and made my nose runny. As part of my job duties, I had to make an occasional trip down to the main USPS hub at Florence and Central. I was VERY glad I did not have to go down there during those days, and if I had been told to go, I would have refused and accepted the consequences.

I have to say, it does my heart good to read of the prosecution witnesses making Zimmerman look good, and flummoxing the prosecutors.

To the untrained eye, it appears that the defense is getting all it needs from the prosecution witnesses.
Sometimes, I guess, there's prosecutorial incompetence, and sometimes, well, you just don't have a case.

I keep expecting the prosecution to hit the witnesses with a zinger-type question before handing them over to the defense, and I keep being pleasantly surprised.

Not just the untrained eye. Have you kept up with Andrew Branca's commentary? And he's far from the only self-defense expert saying the same thing.

I almost appears that the prosecution wants to lose the case. That way they can say "we tried to convict him" but the jury didn't agree.
I find it strange that they have so many witnesses, but none of them were actually at the scene. Also, the police testimony appears to help Zimmerman.

Today Investigator Serino was called to the stand. He was the lead investigator in the Zimmerman case. He said two things that I had to write down because they were so stunning.

O’Mara: Officer Serino, please tell me the discrepancies in Zimmerman’s interview with Officer Singleton, his later interview with you and then the walkthrough the next day.

Serino: Um, I can’t think of any.

Serino: In this particular case, he (Zimmerman) could have been considered a victim also.

This is a prosecution witness. It doesn't get any worse than this for the prosecution.

Serino: No, sir.

O'Mara: "No physical evidence, witnesses, officers, not one fact anywhere?"

Serino: "No, sir, not that I found."

This is different from any trial I have been witness to. In this case, the officers and witnesses in general seem to get attacked by the prosecution after rebuttal. They treated Zimmerman fair and did a good job. The prosecutor re-questioning the audio expert killed me with his nervous laugh when the expert would answer in a way he didn't like.

I'm sure the officers and the investigator appreciate their professional judgment - after an in depth investigation - being called into question by this entire circus. Every single piece of evidence and testimony so far backs up Zimmerman's defense.

I think that the officer's testimony in this case show that they truly came in and testified truth....no bias, no heavily coached responses. It's good to see.

So, has anybody here donate to the defense fund?

I truly had no opinion until the trial started, but after seeing the spectacle first hand, I'm seriously considering it.

Looking back on it, I think it was the vitriolic anti-zimmerman sentiment on this forum that convinced me that George needed my help. Much of that here has dissipated since then, though there are still those that blame him for leaving his car, or for "chasing" poor little Treyvon. I'm sure he could use your help, should you decide to give it.
