I back ordered 200 of the Rem UMC/dry box at the end of Jan, along with their .22lr/ammo can deal. I have since picked up the .22, but the UMC half of the order is still valid, and "backordered".

They also canceled an order of primers, but I called in and placed the same order and they were able to accept it (same item, different part number)

I also had a larger backorder of PMC Bronze .223 that I ordered a week later, and they filled that for me last week.

Federal 9mm 147gr JHP for $0.43 a round-ish here:

not a great price by any stretch, but it says they have stock.

I saw the guy at the North Carrollton Wal-Mart putting out several boxes of .38 special and .45ACP. The .38 was Federal and the .45 was 50rnd WWB. I'm not sure how many boxes of each as he had just opened the box they were brought to him in. They were both in the same big box. It might have been about 10 boxes each.

You might as well max out your order if you decide to order from Gander-fine print:

One $5 surcharge will be added to orders containing ammunition.

Order 4 boxes or more ($50) and get free shipping. Easily covers the $5 charge, IMO

Just got (2)-Winchester white box 40 ct. 22-250 45gr JHP at Walmart I-20 @ Great Southwest in Grand Prairie. They had 2 more white box and a few 20 ct. 55gr also. Nothing else. I have one of these, so grabbed a couple boxes...thought someone might live nearby that could benefit. :cheers2:

Score!!! Ok, so I was just going to get a bagel at the Einsteins on DeZavala and I-10 when I figured I'd better check out Wally World, and as el Guapo would say there was a plethora of boolits!!! Limit 100 rounds per person, so I obviously had to make three trips, but there was ammo-a-plenty. When I was done with my small purchase, there was still 5 boxes of WWB 9mm, an overabundance of Remington 22lr, some Remington 9mm, some .45ACP JHP, and darnit if the guy in front of me didn't buy the last of the .223.

But enough about me.

How come nobody is saying what the price is? The thread originated for the purpose of price shopping ammo deals. That is why it is called... ammo ON SALE not FOR sale.

Fine. The WWB 9mm was its usual 22 bucks a box/100. The Remington was its usual 27 bucks a box/50. The .45 was 27 bucks a box/100. The 22LR was 9.97 box of 225.

Usual prices for walmart, half the price of the other guys. Its always cheaper there, so it seems like a sale.

I'm still only shopping Walmart because they haven't changed their prices to reflect the current supply/demand issues we see online.

It's become a "treasure hunt" of sorts. I feel like a kid looking for easter eggs every time I go into a walmart.
I'm thankful that I have a significant stash of ammo already, so it's not stress induced shopping. lol

When I was at Walmart recently, another guy was complaining how he can't shoot his new 9mm because he can't find ammo anywhere. I could have sold him 100 rounds for $100 I bet.
