I don't know, nightmare. I'm going to give you a good run for your money. I mailed all of my materials on 2/6. So, I'm at day 76 now. They have acknowledged receipt, but nothing else. I tried calling last week and was given the stock answer of how it takes 60 days to process an application. It was totally lost on her that it had already been 70.

My only consolation is knowing that it simply can't be much longer.

The 60 day rule no longer applies to them anymore Im guessing. It been nearly 8 weeks since DPS signed for my packet and I still get the *error* message when I try to log in.

Tell yourself you will do 30 min of dry fire before you log on to dps each day. When you get your license you will be awesome, instead of constantly frustrated with a government process that you mailed in.

The Eagle has landed! 71 days box to box. Mailed app with everything completed on February 14th. Received The Card today, April 25th.

Well, my bride's card came in the mail this morning. She mailed her complete packet on Feb. 8th. Today is April 26th. It took 77 days mail to mail. Mine took 78 days. I guess she is living right...lol.

Received yesteray, after initial complete package delivered to TX DPS on 2/21. Little over 8 weeks.

Extremely frustrated. I thought today would be the day.

Online application - 1/31/13
Fingerprints - 2/7/13
CHL class - 2/17 and 2/18/13
Packet mailed - 2/19/13
Application recieved, background check under review - 3/25/13
Background check completed - 4/21/13
Mailed - 4/23/13

Even accounting for them using Bulk Rate postage instead of First Class, taking four business days to get a letter from Austin to McKinney is a feat of incompetence only the USPS could off.

Mine updated to mailed on Sunday 04/21, postmarked Tuesday 04/23, received Thursday 04/25. So just because you read something on the internet it doesn't man it's true.

My status said mailed on Tuesday and its still not here :(
