After not providing 2 sheets (don't know how I missed it, but it doesn't matter now...)in my application, I have now been placed in "application processing" again.

It was a pretty quick turnaround since I had to request two records from two different bureaucrat offices in two different states.

I'm just happy it's all complete and I'm back on track.

Can't complain about anything. It was all my fault.

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active

DPS received my renewal packet on December 24th, that's 79 days from receipt to issue.

Oh - I finally heard from my State Rep in response to the e-mail I sent them over a week ago seeking their help... they sent me a form letter e-mail to let me know that they do not accept e-mails. It suggested I call their office. :banghead: :banghead:
An update:

When I am wrong, I certainly do not mind standing up and saying so..... and I was totally wrong in my earlier comments about my State Rep's office.

While we were missing each other on the phone, the Rep's office had made 4 phone calls to DPS on my behalf.... none of which were returned by DPS. The Rep's office was constantly working on my behalf, just waiting to hear back from DPS before they contacted me back.

I was also told this morning that my State Rep is also a CHL holder ! Her office is aware of the problems that CHL holders have been facing with delays, etc. While they normally have good responses from DPS with most inquiries, they seem to only have problems with the CHL division.

So, I now have plastic in hand, and the State Rep's office has still not heard back from the CHL folks. I know that must be as frustrating for her and her staff as it is for the rest of us.

Still waiting on mine.

Probably at least a 30 day delay due to paperwork not complete. Took 29 days for me to turn my paperwork around to them.

Well, 8 days after "Application Completed.... " still no plastic. Did a little research here and it seems most got theirs in the mail with 3-5 days :( If anyone has to set the record for "longest in the mail", it'll probably be me, lol. I could have walked it here from Austin in less time.

Bummed.

I wonder if my 90 day clock started again when DPS received my missing paperwork and my status changed from Missing Information...to processing application. Anybody know? :rules:

The way the code reads is that DPS has 60 days from the time an application is received and complete to process it. So yes, once someone receives the dreaded "application incomplete" message their time technically does restart and it does allow DPS up to another 60 days to be within their stated requirements for processing the application.

Yes I did.... and, yes, I walked the Wally. Glad it's over, not a ChinaMart goer.
Good luck to all those still waiting.

From the looks of others who were delayed for whatever reason, like the poster above, it's going to take almost exactly 60 days after "processing application" status resumed .

Oh well. My fault.

May 20 or so will be here in a blink. I guess I can stop obsessing on minute by minute status for awhile... :txflag:
