RED RIVER RUMBLE? BLM Wants to Seize 90,000 Acres of Texas Ranchers’ Land!
The Red River is the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma…or is it?

Byers, Texas along the Red River — The BLM stole 140 acres of the Tommy Henderson ranch thirty years ago. They took his land and paid him absolutely nothing. He sued and lost. Now the BLM is using that court case as precedent to do it again. The problem is, the land they want to seize is property that ranchers have a deed for and have paid taxes on for over a hundred years.

The BLM claims that about 90,000 acres (116 miles along the Red River) have never belonged to Texas in the first place. They will seize the land and it will seriously change the boundaries between the two states.
Sooo…. Now we have a bureaucracy re-designing state boundaries?
This same disputes happen fairly regularly between private parties, states, and yes even the feds.
What business do the feds have getting involved in a border dispute between two states? The only land the federal government should own is Washington, D.C., any land gifted to them and any land they have lawfully purchased. Any other land they lay claim to is theft, pure and simple, unless they pay market price for it.
We, and the courts, disagree.

Now, western states are beginning to react to BLM depredations en masse, figure out their options to throw out federal control over land in their states: http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/politics/5 ... l.html.csp

This is a low-grade rebellion of states against federal encroachments on their sovereignty, and it is the FEDERAL government that pushed them to the point of reacting.

U.S. Sen. Mike Lee addressed the group over lunch, Ivory said. New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington also were represented.

But that doesn't sound near as evil as grenade launcher.

Of course it is. Have you ever tried to deploy tear gas in an open desert with 20mph+ winds? LOL. Whoever brought that thing along didn't have his head screwed on straight.

But it is also a perfectly good desert grenade launcher.......if you want it to be.

It can also be bad when overused in a city.

Yeah. Hemmed in by buildings, TG can be an effective crowd dispersant. But I don't think it would be very effective in the middle of the Nevada desert. Plus, it would be hilarious if the wind reversed itself on whomever lobbed the thing to begin with.

Either way, TG or HE, whoever thought he was going to need to lob them at protesters in the desert really didn't have his thinking cap on straight.

Fascinating. Reads like a movie. (10 acres worth maybe $20K in the middle of no where with no access & selling for $750K?????)

Clive Bundy is a victim. How can anyone fix his mouth to call him a grifter?
