That would make a nice little drive, and I'm always up for good Mexican food.SecedeTX wrote:After this is all done, a "range day" in San Antonio with good Mexican food to follow could be in order.
did not hear from you yesterday, did ya, did ya, did ya, huh?HighHandicap wrote:Well, hopefully today is the day that I go from "Processing" to "Approved"!
If I didn't know better, I'd say the anticipation is as hare on y'all as it is on me! Sadly, I'm still "Processing". Maybe tonight? Fortunately, I'll be in a training class all morning and getting a root canal (yayTeamless wrote:did not hear from you yesterday, did ya, did ya, did ya, huh?HighHandicap wrote:Well, hopefully today is the day that I go from "Processing" to "Approved"!
Ya know, on May 15th, Texas Tactical is doing an IDPA match at Cedar Ridge Range just north of San Antonio. That might be a great time for us to gather and do a good bit of shooting.SecedeTX wrote:After this is all done, a "range day" in San Antonio with good Mexican food to follow could be in order.
You know I will!HighHandicap wrote:If I didn't know better, I'd say the anticipation is as hare on y'all as it is on me! Sadly, I'm still "Processing". Maybe tonight? I won't have much time to check until later tonight. I will, however, be thinking about it constantly!

How about you? I'm waiting to see when your plastic arrives, but I'm sure Quahog will let us know before you get home from work today.

Yep, ya know, I am not sure I am looking forward to his PM to me later, it will be a lot like the "Major League" (the movie) scene when it is "Cut Day" and the players want to open their lockers, but are afraid the red card will be hanging there.HighHandicap wrote:Quahog will let us know
Well? no mail yet?Quahog wrote:You know I will!![]()

Yea, I guess I don't understand how the pony express works.SecedeTX wrote:"cruel and unusual"
Hmm....Well after my recent experience with my certified return receipt mail that I sent to the DPS that vanished, untraceable at that, by the postal system and then resurfaced and got there a week later, you will get a good insight about our mail systems sometimes flukey happenings.Teamless wrote:Yea, I guess I don't understand how the pony express works.SecedeTX wrote:"cruel and unusual"
Getting mail (approved on Friday -others received theirs 3 days later), from Austin to Houston, is a task that has been done for ages, and is really only a 1 day turn-around, so it could have been here on Saturday, but I felt that worse case, it would be Monday, but come on, now at least Wednesday!?![]()
I told Quahog that tomorrow, I would not be going home (to let the dogs out at lunch) and would wait very impatiently till after work - or until he messages me that he got his -- I may have to beg him to check my mailbox, to save me the urge to come home and check myself LOL
