I can remember the Texas Stores in San Antonio, which sold both guns and liquor. And I didn't think it was odd.

My uncle owned a cotton gin across the road all I had to do was after him approving it was to tell them to put the ammo on his ticket and leave. I got 15 cents for every pigeon I got at the gin and 5 cents for a rat applied to my ammo bill, I hunted them hard. I still have most of 2 boxes of the shotgun shells I bought. This work sure kept me out of trouble and they always knew where I was. I did best when they went to eat or to store at night as they would leave me to hunt, much better at night for rats.

Academy has a pretty good sale going on now until Dec. 1 or so. I got 2 cases of 300 rounds each of 45acp Black Label Blazer brass FMJ ammo for $79.99 minus a $20 rebate on each. So with tax, it comes to $132 for 600 rounds of practice 45acp ammo. The rebate can be done online or by mail.

The same sale is going on for 9mm, 22lr, .40, and .223.

Get them while you can.

Hulen, White Settlement and the Altamesa stores all have those prices. I've checked the one in Burleson a long time ago and they had different prices.

Apparently they are allowed to do so. Local area economy probably plays a big factor.

I went to the Walmarts on Oakmont (Hulen?) and McCart (Altamesa) and found no Blazer Brass for .45 ACP. Also hit up the Academy in Burleson and found no Black Label Blazer Brass in .45 ACP.

Anyone know of any Walmarts that have Blazer Brass in stock?

Wal mart has Reminton UMC brass 9mm for $7.97/50. They also asked for an ID and entered my DL number in the sale transaction. I asked if this was a store requirement or government requirement and she said government

Probably, I bought some yesterday and all they needed was a birthdate.

For those that purchased the bulk ammo from federal/blazer over the holidays, the deadline to submit rebates is Jan. 2. It was fairly easy to submit online as long as you're able to upload pictures of the boxes, upc's and receipt.

Thanks for the reminder. The rebate form I'm looking at says April 30 as the last date but the website says today. Better get it done right now.

Oh man went shopping online, most 45acp sold out. Plus what is available costs more, paid $110 more for a case with free shipping.

I think that it is going to be like this until at least mid 2021.
