I had ignored this since my last post but today I looked for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Today I see background check under review.
Print pending.

So I don't know how long it has been in this status but I'm optimistic now.
I've lived many places but in same place for quite awhile and had some exhaustive FBI background checks in the past so there may be a few extra pages to read in my file depending on what info DPS gets but it'll all be good. Hopefully soon.

Mailed status change this morning, maybe this week will have plastic.

I changed to mailed today also, I hope I can get it by Saturday

Checked today. I'm at:

Background Check : Completed
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending

O.K. this is where apparently updating status records on the computer is lower on the DPS priority list than getting licenses out the door (as noted on other threads in this forum).

Because today I see:

"Concealed Handgun License : Mailed "

My timeline is the same as yours, what city do you live in?

Edit: you are north of DFW. I have not seen the mailman today so maybe there is still hope.

I know, ever since it went to mailed my patience has depleted. Today is 82 days since I mailed everything off. Going to the gun range for the first time this year with friends so it will be a good day. I need some practice with my CC and fine tune my Eotech on my AR-15.

USPS delivered today, I have plastic. 83 days mailbox to mailbox. Wally walk this evening. Im out of the waiting room finally.
