philip964,
No slam on you at all, but I couldn't possibly be interested in the politics of an entertainer.
Most of them are left and most probably don't know why except all their show biz pals are on the left, so all of them being a 'leftist' is fashionable for their crowd.
Quiz them about the mechanics of being left and all you'll get is a 'who me shrug' of complete ignorance.
The Dems were really hurting for a victory. This morning this is all they had. But it was big news on The Today Show. Taylor had kept pretty quite about politics her whole career, so to your average 30 year old this was big news.

Seems like this is 90% about her being mad at Marsha Blackburn. One should not go full potato because one is angry with a single person.

Trump meets with LEO gets applause for Kavanaugh confirmation. A lot different from previous POTUS, who did everything possible to prevent them from doing their job.

Jobless welfare claims near five-decade low
6.3%: African-American Unemployment Rate Second-Lowest Ever
The lowest unemployment rate ever for African-Americans was 5.2% - in May, also under the Trump Administration
Record low unemployment rate for Hispanics was August, at 4.5%. In Sep, it is still only 4.7%.
Economy added 134,000 jobs in September; unemployment falls to nearly 50-year low
Under Obama unemployment went down because people quit looking for jobs. Under Trump unemployment went down because there were jobs for people to find.
August job creation rebounds — “fueled by tax cuts,” notes AP, Bloomberg
And the people taking those jobs get to keep more of their take-home pay. The horror of the Trump Administration knows no bounds.
Oh, and "Kavanaugh."
I can't imagine any other Republican president or Republican wannabe-president that wouldn't have folded under the Democratic Party's sewer-fest over the last month, but Trump a) was remarkably restrained, and b) was remarkably strong.

Wonder if she remembers the Dixie Chicks? Ask them how alienating your fan base enhances your career.
Otherwise, who cares what any "entertainer" thinks? Entertain me, otherwise shut up.

This is why Taylor Swift matters. 102,000 youngsters have registered to vote since she started her campaign.

I was referring to the folks at CNBC.
Just because an organization (vote.org) dominated by women says all those votes were triggered by NotSoSwitft's tweet doesn't make it true. Dollar to donut says everyone involved in vote.org is a progressive.
