I think the reason it turned out ok was because the jury was the one thing they did not find a way to throw.

The left and all their mindless followers have a different concept of justice. They don't believe in individual justice or innocent until proven guilty. Collectivists want "social justice" --which means punishing people in certain groups for perceived historical injustice or "unfairness." That means if you're White, you're walking around guilty for the past perceived sins of your ancestors, and subject to punishment to advance the notion of a "fair society," even though you yourself have committed no crime. Sometimes to achieve "social justice" you have to pretend a little when reality doesn't match desire, and then someone like GZ becomes a White-Hispanic in order to fit the "social justice" narrative. The facts aren't important in "social justice," only the story (the narrative) matters, and that is a tale manufactured to provide the necessary emotional engagement.

I am amazed everyday by the stupidity the world.
On my way into work this morning, a woman called into a radio show and proclaimed " the 911 dispatchers in Florida are not contractors, they are Government employees,so George Zimmerman disobeyed the direct order of a Federal Officer and that's a felony!"
I nearly drove of the road screaming at the radio and the stupidity filling my ears.

I think most people who talk about this trial and it's outcome are like those people who tell how bad or good a movie is without ever seeing it. They read media reports and a few reviews and suddenly they are experts on cinematography. Event the talking heads that are reporting on the trial are only viewing from a narrowed view that meets their biased agenda. Disgusting.
