Is the LTC the one with the 4 lb. DAO trigger? I played with one of them at Carters the other day and it sure is smooth but I dont thin I caould carry it,
No it's not DAO ( double action ? is that what you mean?? pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong).. But if you're reffering to a 4lb trigger .. Yes, maybe even less.. Very clean and crisp trigger action.

In response to the grips thread, here's my Springfield Lightweight Champion with Davidson horned lizard micarta grips.
As you can guess by the finish wear, I carry this one often and it's one of my favorites. She likes strolls along the beach in the moonlight and Corbon DPX.

I'd almost like to see pictures of an old worn out, well used .45 1911...
I bet the man or woman who owns that to be a very effective person behind that trigger...
Just thought I would throw that out there...
For some reason I bet someones going to bump the picture of my 1911, that yes...I stole it from my Dad...
Geesh, get that out of the way again...
And call mine ugly...And that I couldn't hit the ground if I fell with it...
I know some of you are some vindictive suckers!!!

High Velocity -
Looking at those grips, my eyes hurt...
Rest of the gun looks really nice, though.

I highly recommend Davidson's grips. I've got a set on all my single-stacks these days.
Stevie...I'm gonna make your wish come true. Below a picture of my Kimber Classic Model back in 2002 when it had 65,000 rounds on it. It's now knocking on 100,000 rounds but was hard chromed by APW in 2005 in the lower photo.

Wait, I forgot...heres the Colt on permenant loan from a friend of mine. I've put may be 30,000 rounds through this gun in the last couple years. It ought to be familliar to Hossisfree and his cousin from the CHL forum day.
