Everytime I emailed the DPS, Melinda answered within the hour. Most times it wouldn't be more than just a few minutes before I got an answer.

Dang, it took a week for them to mail out my licence but I finally have it. 
So it ended up being about 90 days from mailing the packet to receiving my license. Good luck to everyone else who's still waiting.

I'm with you Kimber. checked the mail tonight and voila PLASTIC IN HAND! 
90 days from the day they received my packet til plastic in hand.

Congrats to everyone on their recent progress. I hope the rest of those guys that are waiting get their's soon. It's a long and frustrating process but it will move along and eventually you'll get your plastic.
