Day 49 and for some reason I had a gut feeling (for the first time) that today was the day to see my first update.
And I was right, it was a beautiful sight.

OK!!! Status changed to mailed 5 days ago. Whoever has my plastic sitting on their desk, please take it to the mailbox. It does not take 4 days for mail to reach S.A. from Austin...

Mine was mailed 5-8 receieved it 5-11

This is my 1st post. Been lurking on here as a guest. Fun to see everyone waiting on their license. Mailed mine in 3/4/2013. My class instructor told us some folks were getting their license in 4 weeks and some got them before they updated the web. I waited till 4 weeks was up checked the web no updates, 5 weeks, then 6 weeks no updates then 4/22/13 updated showing they had my stuff, background check under review. 4/29/13 updated background check completed manufacturing license. Thursday 5/9/2013 web updated license mailed. I thought I would get it on Saturday, didn't, thought for sure then Monday didn't. Mail will run today around noon hope it is here. I live in Round Rock they could have called and I would have run down and picked it up

Finally a status update!! First update since I emailed my stuff, background under review hopefully this go smoothly and doesn't take long.

I seem to be stuck in the background check. Since April 27th. 17 days and counting?? I have lived in the same location for over 12 years, no tickets, at all... No wonder the money I sent them back in February is non refundable because I might have asked for it back by now. Customer service is kinda lacking down there in Austin.

3/23/13 - CHL Class
3/25/13 - Documents Mailed
5/8/13 - Background check under Review

Very exciting times!!!

Mine updated to Manufacturing this morning, hopefully be mailed out tomorrow and get it next week. I will be very surprised if I get it this week.

Got my plastic yesterday!!!!! March 1st is when the USPS said they received my packet. So around 72 to 73 days however you wanna figure it. Good luck guys!

FYI my last update said mailed on 5/9 2013 didn't get it till today looked at the meter stamp on the envelope and it was stamped 5/13/2013 so it was mailed actually four days later than posted on the web. Got it today so it took one day as I thought it should have done in the 1st place.

I think when it updates to mailed it means your plastic is in the to be mailed pile.
