cops with 1911s

Had an intersting scenario yesterday. I was at the Lasershot offices seeing one of their simulators demonstrated. I had 2 agents and a sergeant from our Houston office down there to also see it. When we were discussing which weapons we needed to buy simulators for, the salesman was talking about market share is how they decide which to make. He mentioned Glock and Sig first. He pointed out that the XD is close enough to a Glock that they don't make a simulator for it. We talked about the M&P, which is the current issued gun. Thenw e got to the important one. All four of us were wearing 1911's and wanted to know about that one.
