That all depends, Arnel's shop does good work and he doesn't take long but he could have a large backlog or your gun might need special attention.

You might try a new recoil spring and some different self-defense ammo. But if you had no problems with ball ammo, I'd say you're okay.
I use Hornady XTPs, so I've no idea if Hydroshoks feed in my own RIA. (I -think- they do, but I've only fired one box of them through it).
I'd stay away from +P loads in that gun, on general principle. I know my own RIA will shoot them, but I don't use them very often because I don't want the barrel and slide to get any looser (mine rattles somewhat).
Obviouly, can't answer your question. That is just a thought because I had feeding promblem (under 200 rnds.. break-in pains?) and I called and sent it in and I got in back is less tha 10 days!!They called me to confirm they received it , called me again to say they mailed it back and followed up with me to check if I shot it yet and what I thought of it.That's why I said IMHO they have the best customer sevice in the industry...lunchbox wrote:will i have to like send it in and wait 6 months or what????
