Nothing that won't make them stick that way if you try it... "rlol"

BTW, I am also right-handed and left eye dominant...Known it for many years...Yet I find myself carrying and shooting right handed (more natural for me) but I shoot way much better left-handed...

I know, I am a very odd person...

There is a long list of them on the "Ocular Dominance" page on Wikipedia:

That's inline with what I was thinking. Also, many shooters find that trying to close one eye actually degrades vision in the eye that remain's open.

I was born shooting right handed with right eye dominant in 1992 I broke my neck which caused some paralysis to my right hand,In the last 6 years i've retrained myself to shoot left handed I turn my head to the left to line up sights on handguns,I outshoot most people shooting with their dominant hand,I think if he learns to shoot left handed over time it will become more natural.but I do have a more natural draw with my right hand from a holster probably because I don't practice drawing from a holster which now I will. Thanks for helping me realise a weakness i need to work on

I'm left handed but right eye dominant. I started shooting firearms when I was 10 years old and was taught to shoot with my right hand with both a rifle and pistol since that's how my family members shot. I was just lucky that I was right eye dominant and developed a comfort zone in shooting right handed. To this day if I have to shoot one handed I prefer to do so with my left hand and can do so well enough to qualify as an expert every year.

If you're going to attempt to try to have him shoot with the hand that is related to his dominant eye I would start doing so now while he's still developing muscle memory. Good luck!
