It was a simple question my friends. I don't carry under mpa but someone without chl might could expect a decent answer.

Well I got stopped out here in Ft.Bend county last week. He asked me for my liscence.
So I gave him my DL and my CHL. He asked if I had my pistol on me. I said yes sir . He gave back
the CHL and went and wrote me a warning ticket. :shock: Thank You

Just hand over DL and CHL when asked ;-)

I did because we have re-hashed this topic 500 ways 250 times and I wanted to add something to it to liven it up a little bit.

that may be true ,
however there are new members joining all the time ,

I'll be the oddball. DPS recommends notifying the officer of your CHL status and that you're carrying "as soon as possible," so this would suggest that you should announce that you are CHL holder before (or while) you hand him the DL and CHL.
