And Charles "fails to comply with the lawful command of a peace officer" is this a Misdemeanor or Felony?

Texas has no such law.
The closest is this;
Text
§38.15. Interference with public duties.
(a) A person commits an offense if the person with criminal
negligence interrupts, disrupts, impedes, or otherwise interferes
with:
(1) a peace officer while the peace officer is performing a
duty or exercising authority imposed or granted by law;
(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.

I contacted the DPS like the AG suggested.. and their reply was about what I expected.. nothing
here it is
Mr. Aric:
In answer to your question, no, the DPS is not empowered to address the
alleged violation of the law by a municipality (or anyone else).
The law provides you with remedies, if you feel that the city is acting
outside its authority.

I don't belive I will be going anyway... My boss decided I need to work (I think he wants to keep me out of jail) Looks like it going to be a wild day. They have counter protesters coming in from NM and plan on bang pans, blowing horns.. etc to drown out the KKK, The police said they can have their pans as long as they are not used as weapons. what the heck? Oh well I will keep you all informed if anything wild happens.

If I were out there, I might just show up with 4 or 5 concealed handguns just to have a little fun with them...

Well I had to work so I didnt go. But according to pictures on the Amarillo globe news website(amarillo.com). The police were out in force but it still could have became a nightmare fast. They had the KKK seperated by a fence from everyone else but the supporters and protestors where mixed together. In one picture they show a black guy giving the black power sign (He was from colorado) next to a white guy giving the nazi salute. And it seems only one person got detained.
Thanks for the anwsers to my questions. I still plan on bitchn about the CHL banning though.
