Do the grips cover the back of the grip frame? You may need to lock your thumb down to keep it out of the way. I sorta lock/curl the firing hand thumb down and point the support hand thumb toward the target. I just returned from a snubby specific handgun class @ K R training and we covered that. It was a great class I'll post a review in the training section soon.

I finally dug my wife's Rebel out and took a better picture so folks can see the grips that came on the gun.

David, those are some nice looking grips. It looks like on the backstrap they taper pretty sharply.

I did the lock-removal using the youtube vide you linked to. it took about 20min and a few basic tools (properly fitting screwdriver, soft-face mallet, curved needle-nosed pliers). after removal, there was a new, small hole that was once occupied by the lock pivot-point. see red arrow below:


not too big a deal for me, but might be for some.

here's the grips I put on mine. I really like them. very compact. figuring out a proper way to grasp them was initially painful. but now putting 50rds thru it at the range is genuinely fun.


hmm.. looking at the picture I see I've definitely put some hard carry miles on mine.
