Jordan, actually that isn't a bar to being in the guard, it depends on how badly, contact a recruiter if your interested
Already talked to recruiters. Basically, I can't run for more than a few hundred feet right now. It would disqualify me.

Jordan, what recruiter did you talk to? just curious because I have a soldier in my unit that can't run at all nope not even a 10 yard dash. if you went to some office it wasn't TXSG it was TxNG

Well, that's encouraging because I'm only good for about a 50 yard sprint/jog. I'd still like to explore the State Guard though. I have to be good for something, even at 56 years.
