IMHO, y'all can debate the issues all you want but I think the time for debate has passed. I have thought that since I knew the Repubs were gonna get beat in the election (not that I cared for their candidates either).

I don't even bother to debate issues anymore. I have taken solid physical action to defend against what I think is coming to the U.S.of A.

This health care debacle is just the start. Next will be amnesty for illegal aliens rammed down our throat the same way the health care plan was. And oh golly gee look, the same people who just did the health care plan will automatically have all those millions of votes in their pockets when they make instant citizens out of people who have came here illegally.

The government already controls the American auto industry and if you study all the rules they have put in place for banks, the government now cracks the whip on every bank that is big enough to affect our economy.

This is the slickest moves I have seen in years and I though Slick Willie was a master. The new president makes him look like a Jaycee at the local Chamber of Commerce pancake breakfast.

I stopped waiting to see what is coming next before he ever got elected.

Also, it could be argued that the Tea Parties are as much of a Libertarian thing as a Republican thing. It could be argued that the Libertarians (like me) are stronger advocates of lower taxes and smaller government than the Republicans are. Some Republicans (like Ron Paul and his son Rand) fit that definition.

As long as you limit the focus of the Tea Party movement to smaller government and less taxation, you'll find enthusiastic support from both the Libertarians and the Republicans. It's when you start bringing up social issues (such as gay marriage, abortion, immigration, etc.) that you start to find disagreement.

I hope I don't swing this off-track and off topic, but many (most?) will believe that one of the few duties our government has is to secure its borders from invaders.

Please I don't mean to drag the issue in this thread except to clarify libertarianism. We are also not always unified either.
