I was watching an episode of Deadliest Warrior on TV last season and they had a "former" Spetznats (sp?) soldier but his holster was extremely ingenious. Basically they would carry a pistol without one in the chamber and to unholster the firearm they push down on the gun and it pushes through the bottom of the holster (no ideo how it worked) cocking the gun as it was pushed down and out. Pretty ingenious if you ask me not sure if it would be faster than drawing upwards though.

...I can't even google a decent pic of the inside of a thumb-break to modify, so you'll have to put up with my poor MS Paint skills:...
Thanks Andy! That is basically how I pictured it - I'm surprised that more manufacturers don't do that as it seems that this is a fairly common problem with a highly popular pistol design. Maybe you've found a niche!

Just carry a Sig. You won't have to worry about it. And it always fires when it's supposed to.

or I could go back to my CZ as default carry, but I like the way the Pro Carry feels in my hand(s).

I ordered one of the "new" Mtac's for my STI Guardian. I'll let you know how it goes when it gets here.
