Good job Ray. The Glock/1911 rivalry has got to be as much fun as the Aggie/Longhorn. Since I did not go to either school I have to get all the miles I can out of the G/1911.
I tell anyone that asks that they are a quality arms. If they were not, then they would not be the choice of as many LEO agencies as they are. I am just too old to convert. As far as all looking alike my wife knows the difference in many makes as well as platforms. I could never get away w/ it.

My CFO (wife) doesn't even know how many I have much less what I have. As long as she has her 2 and her own safe we are in good shape.
By the way, I do have better groupings with the 1911's than with the Glocks, but I think that is because I have more 1911's so I shoot more with them. STILL LOVE MY GLOCKS

What holster style do you use?
I'll be using a Tucker Answer IWB.
However, I picked up a Galco Cop Slide Holster from agdude for a cheap range holster that I've found could also be used as a OWB for conceal purposes when I'm wearing a good loose fitting hawaiian-type shirt, or other good conceal clothing.

Well, I handled every compact carry ay the gun show. The Kimber Tactical Ultra II came home with me. WOW! What a nice fit to my small paws. Amby and night sights, it was a very easy choice.

It really is, I hope I can hit a target with the little 3in. barrel! My brother had read up on the problems Kimber had moving to a internal ejector has that been corrected? I have had good luck with the Fobus paddle holsters antone have suggestions on other OWB paddles? I have not tried belt holsters, should I?

I haven't had any issues with my external extractor, its never FTE'd. Its had a few issues feeding the last round of the magazine, but I think thats part of break-in(still under 500 rounds through the pistol).
I can keep a 4" group @ 15yds with mine(I did @ my CHL qual), and thats sayin something - The Marshal can attest to my recent refamilarization with handguns after a few years of not shooting
