It's a secret!

They put mustard on the beef patty before they put it on the grill so it gets browned while the patty is cooking. It may sound strange, but they are good.

It gives the a couple of days to get their staff up to speed and work out any bugs before the Saturday mad rush.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but are there any opening day specials? On guns/ammo/accessories?

I don't know if there are any sales specials, but I did get a flyer last week that said that R. Lee Ermey is going to be there. :thumbs2:

I went to this store on Wednesday and picked up some .223. Staff is a little green, but friendly.

I tried to buy some Clay's powder and they went to the 'powder bunker' to get a couple of cans for me and the guy brought back a couple of cans of IMR powder.

I am happy it's there though, about 15 minutes from my house!

Ditto...what chaos. Looked like the whole Allen PD was there in some capacity or the other.

Also, "Wyatt Earp" and brothers were at the front entrance unloading guns....what is that all about?

Are you saying they are asking for your firearm if you are carrying concealed? :???:

I am planning on going Saturday but not "happy" if they are...

Yes, the medically retired Staff Sergeant who called himself "The Old Gunny" for so long that finally even the USMC believed it and retrocatively made him one.

That is only for guns brought in to trade, return, have worked on, etc. CHL's are not prohibited from carrying in the stores.

As a mater of fact, Cabela's is VERY pro CHL. There are several CHL classes taught at the Ft. Worth store, including our own Crossfire and Marty's class. They even hosted the Texas Firearms Coalition 'Use of Deadly Force' seminar that Charles gave a few months ago.

It was all very ambiguous. There were many, many, people crowding the entrance so the wife and I went to the Exit auto doors but were turned away. There was not a 30.06 at the Exit doors.

I expected none (and in fact, I didn't particularly look for any as I've never seen a sports store posted with one) . We moved on to the main entrance and were able to enter at a corner of the main door and made our way to the restrooms.

While I waited for her I saw a process that looked like the entry of a gun show but I thought it was a raffle sign up table. When she came back she said "you missed something; they are taking ammo from magazines". I just turned and we went shopping.

So again, very ambiguous.
