RPB wrote:11 is hospitals ... connected to campuses in San Antonio physically connected to medical school exempts ONLY the Medical school THERE because it's 1 building almost ONLY THAT school, ONLY that building not the dental school just the medical/hospital

(I'd go for that if it deterimes the vote )

He was going to accept it BUT Wentworth says DOCTORS AT THAT HOSPITAL WANT TO CARRY WHO E-MAILED HIM so moves to table
Wow! Proof that letters were read and made a difference in the vote.

THERE IS NO CONFLICT! If state law says you can but Fed law says you can't, then you can't! Under state law you could carry in post office (government building, no court or meeting, no 30.06) but Fed law says you can't so you can't. How difficult is that for a STATE SENATOR to understand?

Wentworth states you can't go in the elementary school building on the college campus with the Amendment 8/SB 354 already .... but don't amend to exempt entire campus because a low grade school is somewhere on the property

Those same Elementary kids go to malls where CHLs are .... no difference

Right. So far, so good. 19-20 votes against the amendments so far.

Boy, we need to send Sen Wentworth a big thank-you note for slogging through this mess. :tiphat:

I'm almost glad I haven't been able to watch this - what a parade of dunces.

SB 354 or Amenment 8 or whatever it is now ONLY specifically excludes colleges/universities from 46.03, right? So carrying in a K-12 school is still illegal under PC 46.03 even if this bill passes, right? So carrying in a K-12 school even if it is using a college building will still be illegal, right?

Can someone PLEASE tell Lucio this so he'll shut up. :banghead:
