Yeah, she said she might move here. Don't, please don't!!philip964 wrote:http://www.khou.com/entertainment/Patti ... 78511.html
Patti Labelle still like Houston, even though this is where her guards beat up West Point student.
Maybe she won't so much after trial is over.
When the facts are on your side, argue the facts. When the law is on your side argue the law. When neither is on your side slime your opponent.texasag93 wrote:From the link......
Why do some people always go there......In a lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning LaBelle, he said three of her bodyguards attacked him for no reason. The singer has countersued, saying King was drunk and hurling racial slurs.
Isn't it nice to know that our military leaders will back up their men until they get all the facts?Soldiernurse wrote:philip964 wrote:http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/ ... 8-12-11-07
West Point has reinstated cadet beaten up by Patti LaBelle's guards.

I suspect due to West Point with it's high profile, i. e. public image, they responded hastily not in favor of the cadet. The posted info about him getting kicked out WP & serving active duty at the rank of private seems odd. Whatever the case, reinstated to WP is great to hear.
I doubt that she even knows what city she was in.Charles L. Cotton wrote:Yeah, she said she might move here. Don't, please don't!!philip964 wrote:http://www.khou.com/entertainment/Patti ... 78511.html

When it came out that the cadet had blood alcohol 3X the legal limit, collecting damages became a heavy lift. Case wasn't strong enough to overcome that baggage.philip964 wrote:http://www.click2houston.com/news/jury- ... e/28215898
Jury awards no damages to cadet.
