Watching her testify is painful. She is not communicating well and Mr. Mendelson gives typical responses.


Mr. Mendelson's candor about having more access to training, shooting, and less cost on getting a gun is very condescending.

DC leadership does not want more guns. The requirements to obtain a gun, in my opinion, are not constitutional. I think that they are going to be going back to court. Maybe not the SCCOTUS, but back to the courts nonetheless.

Mr. Mendelson's tone is much like the tone and attitude that Justice Breyer gave when he was asked about the second amendment on FOX a couple of years ago. Justice Breyer: "We're acting as judges. If we're going to decide everything on the basis of history -- by the way, what is the scope of the right to keep and bear arms? Machine guns? Torpedoes? Handguns?" he asked. "Are you a sportsman? Do you like to shoot pistols at targets? Well, get on the subway and go to Maryland. There is no problem, I don't think, for anyone who really wants to have a gun."

Oh, yeah, Breyer may be a Supreme Court Justice, but he is a moron on this issue.

I agree... Giving testimony to a bunch of bureaucrats who you know are against you is not easy. She did a great job, I think.
I saw her on FoxNews the other day... Did a good job there too...

I'd buy her dinner if I ever met her. I think she's doing more for the Second than most any other individual citizen in a long time.
