I have to respectfully disagree. Griswold was absolutely justified in punching that animatronic cartoon moose in the snout. And in the 1980s, who didn't want to shoot John Candy in the back side with a BB gun? Bill Murray is apparently still upset he didn't think of it first. And despite the police detaining the Griswolds for a short time, even Roy Walley himself was easily convinced Clark was right to take the actions he took.
None of this in any should be construed as justification for what Griswold did to that poor dog or Aunt Edna.

Concealed is concealed and the Wally World in our area we call the "hood". It's prudent to be armed when you legaly can.

Aunt Edna died naturally, and the dog death was due to oversight, so you can't blame Clark INMHO, besides , I did my Wallywalk in Cabelas.

Yes, a Crossman BB/Pellet pistol. I still have mine from when I was a kid.

I'm walking Wally at this very moment shopping for pumpkins. Unfortunately, they are not for target practice. And this Wally is out of .45 ACP.

If you insist on stirring up the anti gunners
I can't stop you. Other places besides walmart can
put up compliant signs and put restrictions on concealed carry.
Anti gunners are capable of getting into this forum. They see wally walk bragging about going to
lowes walmart and other places and get the idea to start
complaining to store managers result more signs more restrictions.
I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM DON'T LIKE ME OR MY POSTS
HOWEVER, I URGE YOU TO THINK ABOUT IT

Do YOU have some sort of first-hand knowledge of this actually happening? That is, do you know someone who is an "anti-gunner" who came on here, read the posts about "Wally Walks", got upset, and then went to multiple stores to complain about it? I am truly curious to know the answer to this one...

I remember people complaining about the signs at Taco Cabana, and Taco Cabana relenting and pulling the signs down. The publicity they got (on this board in particular) was instrumental in them changing their policy to our benefit.
In the last 10 years, I don't remember any groundswell to get a public market place posted 30.06, in fact every where we look the the Brady's lose ground, When you are on the right side conflict can be good.
Our goal should not be to quietly go about our business, but to proudly let the Brady's know we are winning and to humiliate them in their loses and our gains in any that we can. We need to let the retailers and the Brady's know our numbers and our strength. It is good that they think we are everywhere. Ever wonder about the size of the Brady membership? For every one of them there is a thousand NRA members.
Ever notice that the few malls have 30.06 signs have lots of crime in the parking lots? While Wallyworlds are open 24 hours and attract a less privileged folks of society doesn't seem to get the carjackings, muggings and rapes that the 30.06 malls get? Maybe even the crimminals and gangsters understand as well as the Brady's, that there are a lot of armed people in Texas Wally worlds. Maybe just maybe us talking about it here makes Wallyworld not only safer from the Brady's, but safer from the bad guys.

+1 That is the favorite tactic of anti-gunners - to imagine situations that they believe might happen and then rail against them. When you get down to looking at the facts, those facts don't support their imaginary situation.
I do understand that there are rabid anti-gun people who would do anything to stir up trouble and try to make life more difficult for law abiding citizens. If they spent the same amount of time worrying about how the true BGs harm people, the world would be a safer place. We would at least be focused on the real threats, not the imaginary ones

You can't live in fear of the unknown. Wal-Mart is most concerned about sales & money. The more customers they have "walk in," the more for potential sales. period.

I didn't think I would be getting a truly serious reply...but, its always good to ask, just in case there is something to be learned.

Why don't you think about this? Every day their employees see gun buyers chls when they purchase guns from them. I think that walmart knows that people legally carry there. I personally will not support my local store due to their refusal to sell me ammo after 10pm stating that it's illegal, but i'm sure they don't care that there are people legally carrying as long as there pockets get bigger.

...when WalMart posted 30.06, back in 96 or 97, the signs only stayed up at my local WW for a coupla months...seems like they've made a business decision that their store welcomes CHLs and their money...the signs have been down for 14 years, and now we're supposed to be timid and fearful about WHAT????
