No personal experience from me - Since it won't work with converted '12's I wont be picking one up (unless I get another gun!).
I've heard good things though. These are just some of the things I've heard about it: The Polymer seems to be tough - There are some drop tests of it on you tube. The weak point that would probably break from a fall would more than likely be any magazine over 8 rounds that isn't reinforced with a metal front locking tab (I'm sure Russian 8 rounders would be ok). The 20 round drums are indeed awkward. The trigger pull has been equated to the FS2000. Install seems to be pretty straight forward, though people don't like the fact that you "have" to hack off the stock tangs (though there are ways around that) to use the standard butt plate off of the factory S-12 stock. Another ding on it I've heard is the lack of a sight option, as the Factory sights are not useable after the install. Most folks seem to use an ultimak style of rail/mounting to get an optic on it, which can be a bummer since that's a further cost that needs to be factored into building a complete system.
Folks seem to just generally be happy with them. I haven't seen any negative comments by folks that own them over on saiga-12.com. Most negative opinions seem to come from folks that don't own them and have never used one, and they seem to generally write it off as they don't like the look or concept. To each their own.
