I've got about $500 into mine, counting the gun itself, and I can easily shoot 1/2" 5 round groups out of the prone at 50 yards. I regularly shoot .22 brass off a wood rail with it.

See attached image. Its wearing a different (smaller) scope now, and I tossed the cheap 25 round mag as well, but you get the idea.

The other plus to it is that building a custom 10/22 is simple, addictive and tons of fun. I'm ready to build my next one...as an M1A SOCOM II clone.
