That's me. Im not usually that smiley!!

B92, with 20 rounder. yes, I need to fix the tag...

if you didn't already know, that little fold in mah scrubs would not be telltale of my 9mm Heater. when I bend over, to get them Funyons off the bottom rack, I just hold the side of my tunic (shirt) and no one knows the difference. if they see the bottom of the mag pooching through the top, they prolly just figger it's mah phone/beeper/PDA....
g'head. try it.
Scar, I'm 6'1", 230, so you should have no problem concealing ANY gun, IMO.

I would also like to second the Bersa. I carry my .380 a lot (with hollowpoints).
If you're wanting a bigger gun, the 1911 is a good gun, you just need to take care of it.

This has been a good discussion. Thanks for all the information givin here. Now I just hope I can find a deal and not a dud. I'm still going to try and find a good Beretta 92 if I can. If I decide that I don't like it for carry then I'll have a nice gun for home defense and range shootin. Thanks again for all the great posts and to casselthief for the actual demo. Scary part is he looks familiar somehow.

I'd agree with that - from what I recall, it has to be a felony to prevent you from getting a CCW. Good luck!

Wildscar, if you shop around you may stumble across a 92Series for under $400 on the second hand market. When purchased new in the box from an FFL, they usually have been a bit higher than that in my experience.
CCW with the 92 is doable for guys your size with the right rig and proper attire. I've carried 92's on occasion in places where I couldn't bring a gun of my own. It's not my favorite gun but it generally works and they don't go down very often. My primary advice is to remember that an oily gun is a happy gun where the 92 is concerned. Also, stick with Beretta OEM magazines.
It's been years since I ran a 92 on a regular basis. Can't remember much else to tell you. I do know a guy I used to shoot with who now shoots for Team Beretta with a 92G model. At least he used to shoot for Beretta...Seems lots of shooters are changing factory rides this year and I don't think he's going to be an exception. Anyway, in the years I shot with the guy, he never seemed to have any problems with the Beretta.

Wildscar, I'm going to try to get to the range this weekend. I have a G21, 2-1911's, a P3AT, and a S&W625.
If you would like to try any of them give me a PM and maybe we can set someting up.
